Sewing Machine Basics

2 Hours | The Design Studio at Boho Fabrics
Ages 16+

Learn to use a sewing machine! In this workshop you will learn the anatomy of the sewing machine, how to identify its different parts, and a basic understanding of how it works. Get familiar threading the machine, winding a bobbin, backstitching, practicing guiding the fabric and sewing straight lines, curves, and corners. Use these skills to make a simple drawstring bag.

 No materials required nor experience necessary!

To help create the best classroom experience possible, a minimum of 3 students is required for class to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, students will be notified in advance and may transfer to another session or receive a refund/store credit.
